The 29-year-old, from Dalry, Ayrshire, was riding a white Ducati motorcycle at around 2.45pm when she crashed at the Kilmory Roundabout.

Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her boyfriend Niki Adamson led tributes on social media calling Candice, also known as Candy, his “ray of sunshine”.

He also revealed that the pair had done their first skydive together last Friday.

Niki said: “I honestly don’t know what I’m writing here. The pain I feel is unbearable. I have never met anyone like her.

“The most kindest, loyal person I have ever met. She was a ray of sunshine in every room she entered. We did everything together. Between bikes, Runescape, metal detecting and even golf ball hunting at midnight.

“Drive everywhere with no radio as we never shut up and never argued once. Held my hand and tickled me for hours straight.

“Just Friday we done our first skydive. This just doesn’t even make sense. She was my absolute world. Love you forever you’re my soul mate, Candice.”

Earlier on, Candice’s devastated family paid tribute to their “special girl” after the crash.

In a statement through Police Scotland, they said they have been left “heartbroken” by the loss.

Her family said: “We are devastated and heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful, kind-hearted daughter Candice.

“She was such a unique and special girl.”

Candice’s distraught friends and loved ones have also taken to social media to pay their respects.

Posting on Facebook, one person said: “R.I.P Candy , thoughts go out to her family and friends”.

Another added: “So sorry to read this, Candice was such a lovely wee girl. Thinking of all her family at this horrendous time”.

Someone else posted: “Keep riding I’ll see you at some point and we can ride together… heart goes out to the family”.
