Three people, aged 26, 44, and 47, were arrested after the high stakes derby clash in relation to other alleged incidents.

Officers are now looking to track down three men in relation to assaults within Celtic Park.

They are described as being white and of slim build.

The first man was captured on CCTV wearing a black Celtic top with green stripes on the shoulders.

The second man was spotted shirtless with an orange top wrapped around his neck.

The third man was also topless and seen wearing a green and white scarf.

Constable Daniel Brady said: “I would urge the men pictured or anyone who may recognise them or has information about this incident to contact us as soon as possible.”

The match kicked off at 12.30pm and the Hoops ran out 2-1 winners as they all but sealed the Scottish Premiership title.

During the powderkeg game, objects were thrown onto the pitch from the stands.

James Tavernier was targeted by home fans as he prepared to take a corner kick.

Moments later, the Rangers captain was spotted handing a metal object to referee Willie Collum.

Sky Sports pundits later called the item a “marijuana grinder”.

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0933 of 11 May 2024.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
