A BOSS at Scotland’s biggest jail is being probed over claims he broke a colleague’s nose at a Christmas party.
Christopher Lawrie, a hall manager at HMP Barlinnie, is said to have injured a worker during an angry bust up.

The incident is said to have happened when officers from the notorious Glasgow nick went out to celebrate the festive season.
But jail chiefs are now probing claims Lawrie was at the centre of an altercation that left another officer with facial injuries – including a bust nose and black eyes.
The alleged bust-up happened on December 7 at the Hilton Hotel in the city.
Sources said staff who witnessed the scenes are furious at Lawrie’s alleged behaviour and are demanding action.
A source said: “Lawrie got into a dispute with a colleague and it all kicked off.
“The guy ended up in a pretty bad way with his face in a total mess.
“It’s shocking enough even without taking the fact he’s a hall manager into account.
“Lawrie was taken outside by staff and told to go home.
“The guy who got injured is currently off work due to having to attend the hospital to get his nose reset.
“It ruined the night and the staff are absolutely furious that this happened.”
A SPS spokesperson said: “As this is subject to an ongoing investigation, it would be inappropriate to comment further.”
