TWO men have been treated for stab wounds after being found injured near a filling station.
The blade attack happened around 11.57pm last night on Mill Road in Cambuslang.



Emergency crews rushed to the Morrisons forecourt near the town’s Bridge Street after receiving a report of two injured men.
The pair, aged 21 and 48, were rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for emergency treatment.
The 21-year-old man has since been discharged.
But the condition of the other man is not currently known.
Police have launched a major probe following the late-night blade attack.
This morning, CID visited the scene to inspect a dark grey Audi hatchback car.
The petrol station has also been cordoned off as investigations remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.57pm on Thursday, 1 August, 2024, we were called to a report of two men found injured near to Bridge Street, Cambuslang, following a serious assault on Mill Road, Cambuslang a short time earlier.
“The two men aged 21 and 48 years were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where they were treated for stab wounds.
“The 21-year-old man was released after treatment.
“Enquiries are continuing into this serious assault. Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference number 4540 of 1 August, 2024.”
