A MAN has tragically died at a popular Scottish skatepark sparking a major police response.
Emergency services raced to the scene in the Meethill Road area of Peterhead yesterday afternoon.

The alarm was raised at around 3.50pm after police received reports of a concern for a person.
However, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers locked down the park shortly after they arrived and sealed off a large area.
A police car was spotted sitting in the grass as blue tape blocked the public from accessing it.
A section of a path through the skatepark was also locked down.
Pictures showed officers standing guard in front of blue tape which blocked people from walking along the path.
Police quickly launched a probe into the death to establish the full circumstances behind what happened.
But the force has now confirmed that there are “no apparent suspicious circumstances” surrounding the death.
They added that a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A police presence is expected to remain in the area this morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 15.50pm on Thursday, 11 July, we received a report of a concern for person in the Meethill Road area of Peterhead.
“Emergency services attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
