A MAN has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after he was involved in a crash between two jet skies near a holiday park.
Emergency crews were called out after the casualty got into trouble around 5.35pm yesterday.


The 42-year-old man was hurt when the jet ski he was riding on collided with another.
He fell into the sea off the coast of Auchenlarie Holiday Park near Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries andGalloway.
The man was helped to shore where coastguard crews from Prestwick transferred him to Mossyard.
He was found to have suffered serious injuries and he was taken onboard an air ambulance.
The helicopter crew then took the man to Glasgow‘s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police have launched a probe into the circumstances surrounding the smash and enquiries are ongoing.
A coastguard spokesman said: “It was an incident in relation to a jet ski. A man had fallen off and was injured.
“He was recovered ashore and was taken to Mossyard where the Helimed took him to Glasgow hospital.
“The coastguard was just there to facilitate the transfer from the location of the incident to Mossyard.”
He added: “It was a police led operation.”
Auchenlarie Holiday Park is described as having “direct access to a secluded beach overlooking picturesque Wigtown Bay”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a collision involving two jet-skis in water near to Gatehouse of Fleet around 5.35pm on Saturday, 11 May.
“A 42-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow by air ambulance for treatment to serious injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
