HIBS assistant boss Eddie May was rushed to hospital today after he was injured in a horror smash on his way to training.
It’s understood the 57-year-old Easter Road legend underwent various scans following the crash.

The driver of the other vehicle involved in the smash has been charged with drunk driving.
Emergency services raced to the scene on the A68 near Pathhead, Midlothian, just after 7.30am.
Eddie was rushed by paramedics to the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh to be treated for his injuries.
The road was closed for several hours to allow cops to carry out their investigation.
It’s understood the family of the former Falkirk and Motherwellstar were at his bedside yesterday as he underwent tests by medics.
A source told how May, who also played for English outfit Brentford, said: “He was on his way to training when a car ploughed into him.
“He is very lucky as it could have been so much worse.
“Eddie was rushed to hospital to be treated as was the driver of the other motor.
“The other driver was later arrested and charged by officers.
“When Eddie got to the hospital he was speaking with doctors, so that is a really good thing.”
May, a favourite among Hibs fans, has been with the club in various coaching capacities since 2014.
The midfielder made more than 100 appearances for his boyhood club scoring 10 goals during his time playing at Easter Road.
A Hibs sppkesperson said: “Hibernian FC can confirm that Eddie May is in a stable condition following a road traffic accident earlier today.
“At this time, we kindly ask everyone to respect the privacy of Eddie and his family. Everyone at the Club wishes him a speedy recovery.”
Last night a PoliceScotland spokesperson said: “At 7.15am on Wednesday, 19 February, 2025 we received a report of a two vehicle crash on the A68 near Pathhead.
“A 57-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were taken to Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“The 29-year-old was also arrested and charged with a road traffic offence.”
