CASH-strapped Police Scotland has spent £339,153 on repairing buildings with dangerous RAAC concrete.
The force had to fork out taxpayers’ cash on stations, training bases and HQs containing the material, which is known to be prone to collapse.

But Tories are urging SNP ministers to allocate extra cash to top brass to help them deal with the issue, instead of having to use “scarce resources”.
Stats from January 2023 to July 2024 show £61,230 was spent at Fettes, in Edinburgh, the former Lothian and Borders HQ. And £1,716 went to fix a police station in nearby Haddington, East Lothian.
In Dundee, £36,784 was spent at the Training and Traffic Block in Baluniefield, with another £1,189 spent at the Tayside divisional HQ.
Tory MSP Sharon Dowey said: “Our police are toiling under SNP budget cuts.
“The last thing they need is scarce resources swallowed up by essential work to remove this potentially dangerous concrete.”
Police Scotland said: “We will shortly address how affected buildings will be dealt with in coming years.”
The Scottish Government said: “We support the work undertaken.”
