A BODY found in the search for a missing woman who got stuck in mud while out walking near a river has been formally identified.
Shona Campbell, 74, vanished while out for a walk on the shore of the Solway Firth where she got into difficulty in the mud at around 5pm on Monday.

She was walking near West Moss-Side Caravan Park in Cummertrees, near Annan in Dumfries and Galloway.
A frantic search was launched to trace her with local and national specialist police forces, HM Coastguard, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service all drafted in to help.
The body of a woman was found in the Solway Estuary in Annan at around 5.40pm today.
Cops have now confirmed it was the body of Ms Campbell.
The force says the tragedy is being treated as unexplained, but they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A woman who died in the Solway Estuary, Cummertrees, Annan has been formally identified.
“She has been named as Shona Campbell, 74.
“Her death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
