DEVASTATED pals of a young waitress found dead have launched a fundraiser to support her family – as her boyfriend appeared ared in court charged with her murder.
Tragic Phoenix‘Phe’ Spencer-Horn was discovered fatally injured in Glen Lee, East Kilbride last Monday.


The body of the 21-year-old was found at a flat in Glen Lee on Monday after emergency services descended on the scene.
It is understood Phoenix died last Saturday but the alarm was only raised two days later.
It is alleged she suffered severe wounds to her head and neck.
Phe’s family was left “stunned and completely devastated” by her death as hundreds of tributes flooded in for the popular restaurant worker.
She was employed in numerous establishments in Lanarkshire, including in Hamilton and Strathaven.
Locals have rallied together to raise funds for Phe’s family to support the costs of the funeral.
A GoFundMe page to raise £5,000 has been launched.
The page – which has already raised nearly £1,800 -read: “A little help for the family at this difficult time.
“Phe was and is adored by her family.
“Anyone who knew Phe would know she would be grateful to anyone who can support her family at this time.
“This will also help give Phe the day she deserves.”
Dozens of tributes to tragic Phoenix have poured in online.
One devastated friend wrote: “I am absolutely speechless. RIP angel. A friendship I will never forget.”
Another posted: “Completely devastated to hear about Phoenix. Sending all my love to her mum and family. Such a tragic loss.”

A third said: “Totally heartbreaking news. Such a beautiful young lady, my heart goes out to all her family and friends.”
A fourth added: “Gorgeous girl with her full life ahead of her. My thoughts are with her family and friends.”
Her boyfriend Ewan Methven, 26, was arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
He appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday charged with murder. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
