A SECOND man has been arrested after a mum was allegedly murdered on a Glasgow housing estate.
Sandie Butler, 40, was found seriously injured last week in the St Mungo Avenue area of Townhead.


Police raced to the scene at around 12:55pm but she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Cops today confirmed a 40-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death.
It comes after a 53-year-old man was also nicked in connection with the death.
The suspect is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Sandie Butler in Glasgow.
“The 40-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 11 November, 2024.
“The incident happened around 12.55pm on Tuesday, 29 October, when officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the St Mungo Avenue area. Sandie, aged 40, was found seriously injured and died a short time later.
“A 53-year-old man was previously arrested and charged in connection and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 4 November, 2024.”
Scores of social media tributes flooded in for the slain mum.
One wrote: “I’m so, so sorry to hear this. I’ll never forget the help you gave my sister, my thoughts are with your family and friends at this sad time.”
Another said: “So sad to hear this about poor Sandie, lovely person!”
A third added: “OMG no, not Sandie. She was such a lovely person, met her the day she came to Ness and kept in touch since.”
