A LORRY has overturned on a Scots road sparking a major emergency response.
Mercy crews raced to the A77, between Girvan and Ballantrae, following reports of the smash.

The incident happened just after 9am this morning.
The lorry smashed through a barrier before landing on an embankment.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area and to allow extra time for their journey after the route was closed by emergency services.
Dramatic images from the scene show the HGV overturned at the side of the road.
The lorry ended up on its roof after it left the road and careered over the embankment.
The large truck crashed onto rocks below and came dangerously close to the nearby water.
The images also show police and recovery workers at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A77 is closed between Girvan and Ballantrae due to a lorry crash.
“Please avoid the area and allow extra time for your journey as the diversion routes will be busier with additional traffic.”
An Amey spokesperson added: “A77 North of Lendalfoot – Police still dealing with an overturned HGV.
“All lanes are open at present but a closure will be required to recover the vehicle. Further updates to follow.”
